So it’s been a couple of years (wow, time truly does fly!) since I last blogged. Many thanks to everyone who kept it touch; it always made me smile to hear from you. I hope this post finds all of you thriving and if not, well: 1. I’m sorry to hear it, and 2. let’s see what we can do to fix that, and 3. hopefully a few upcoming posts will help you get there.
Because I’m rusty, I’m starting easy.
A recipe to start off spring with something not only delicious but also (I dare say) a good way to soothe your soul. There’ll be a new post every couple of weeks on topics like looking for the gift when life hands you some darkness and the importance of playing to your strengths and a few challenges that will help you decide where it is you want to be (because, in case you weren’t aware, the only way to get to your destination is to know where it is you want to be headed in the first place).
My mantra for 2016 is this: it’s never too late to begin again.
If you find yourself struggling with the belief that it’s too late for you, that you had your chance and you blew it, that you screwed up too bad and there’s no fixing it, that you’ve been gone so long you just don’t know how to begin to get back, (and on the list goes), well, I want you to take heart. The good news is that all of those beliefs are just in your head. The better news is that you can always ~ hear me: always ~ change your mind. The best news is that you’re still breathing so there’s still time to believe something new, something that will help you find a life that: 1. matters to you, and 2. makes you excited to wake up in the morning, and 3. makes you come alive.
If you remember nothing else this year, remember this: every breath is a new chance to begin again.
It truly is never too late. So here we are, me and you, beginning again.
