Several years ago, I got an injury that left me unable to exercise at all for nearly six months. When I finally started exercising again, it was very light and easy for another year. So for a total of 18 months, I either didn’t exercise or barely exercised and still not only maintained my 160-pound weight loss but also lost a few more pounds.

Step 2: To lose weight without exercise, listen for your body cues
Your body is communicating with you all the time. It’ll tell you when you’re hungry. It’ll also tell you when you’re comfortably full. You just have to pay attention to what your body is trying to tell you.
Step 3: To lose weight without exercise, eat when you’re hungry
When you’re hungry, pick whatever you’d like to eat, except things you’re allergic to or have to avoid for other medical reasons. Prepare it just the way you like it. Savor the taste and enjoy the eating experience.
Step 4: To lose weight without exercise, stop when you’re comfortably full
When you’re comfortably full, put the food down. You’ve fueled your body until it’s had enough, and that’s a good thing. Now go and get on with your life. Go do things you enjoy that make you feel the most alive.
